Copy an address

Either one. Your account, skin, balance and homes work on both, so it does not matter which you start with.

Open Minecraft and go to Multiplayer

Java: Multiplayer → Add Server. Bedrock: Play → Servers → Add Server, with port 19132.

Paste it in and join

No mods and no launcher. Anything from 1.8 up to 26.2 connects, and so does Bedrock.

Run /rtp and pick a spot

That drops you somewhere random inside the border. When you find somewhere you like, run /sethome.

An economy that is actually used
89 in circulation. Sell to the shop with /sell, list to the auction house with /ah, or post a buy order and let somebody else do the mining.

Teams, homes and land
/team for a shared vault and ender chest, /sethome for as many homes as your rank allows, and region protection on what you build.

257 blocks mined between everybody so far. Every figure on this site is a column the server recorded, and you can check any of them in game.

Do I need Java or Bedrock?: Either. Both addresses accept both. Bedrock connects on port 19132; Java does not need a port at all.
Can I play with friends on the other edition?: Yes — that is the point of running both. You will be in the same world with the same chat.
What version?: Minecraft 26.2, on Purpur. Clients from 1.8 upwards connect through ViaVersion, so an old install still works.
What is the difference between the two addresses?: play.deepsmp.net puts you on survival — the economy, the market, teams and bounties. play.deeppvp.net puts you straight into ranked duels and Bridge. They are one network: /hub moves you between them and your balance follows you.
Can a duel cost me my gear?: No. The PvP server hands you a kit and takes it back at the end. Nothing you own ever crosses between the two servers, so a duel cannot cost you anything.
How is my position on a leaderboard worked out?: By one recorded column and nothing else — balance, kills, blocks mined, playtime or Elo. Your position is how many players are ahead of you on that column, and /rank in game reports exactly the same numbers.
